Vibrant LPL 2015, A high spirit tournament of fun and frolic

Come December and team Lets Nurture padded up for the highly intense and competitive tournament of cricket. Wild and furious Leopards took on the shrewd and crafty Pirates on a cold and breezy morning. The captains Ankit, Priyank and Abhishek led Leopards,Warriors and Pirates respectively. The LPL tournament played a total of seven matches with high and competitive spirit. Every single bowler eyed to knock down the middle stump and each batsman struck hard to power the ball over the boundary line. Most matches had a nail biting finish. One of the match got everyone on the edge of their seats when it resulted in a tie giving both the teams equal number of points.

The tournament took a start with a pre-tournament auction that was held in the month of the November and the three teams viz. The Leopards, The Pirates and The Warriors were chosen. The series took many twists and turns and in the LPL finals it was the mighty Warriors who took on furious Leopards. The fiery fight ended with the Leopards lifting the winners trophy. Food and drink distribution between the matches brought kudos to the cricketing event.

Some of the highlights of the LPL tournament were:

Match 1 – Man of the match – Paresh for taking 4 wickets
Match 2 – Man of the match – Hitesh for scoring 55 Runs
Match 3 – Man of the match – Priyank for fabulous knock of 62 Runs
Match 4 – Man of the match – Jignesh for scoring great knock of 65 Runs
Match 5 – Man of the match – Sidharajsinh for great all round performance of  scoring 20 Runs and taking 3 wickets

Finals – Man of the match – Hitesh for blistering knock of 90 runs

Best Bowler of tournament – Paresh
Man of the Series – Hitesh
Winning team – LPL Leopards
Runners Up – LPL Warriors

Trophies were awarded to the winning team and the runners-up team. All the winning team members were provided with gift vouchers making the Lets Nurture Premier League – 2015 a great success.
